Dissolve Unexposed Photo Resist Setup Option

The Dissolve Unexposed Photo Resist node of the Process Options Editor provides the setup option Number of Panels Dissolved Simultaneously.

Number of Panels Dissolved Simultaneously

By default in starting point Digital Factories, aPriori assumes that panels are processed by the developing machine one at a time. Administrators can customize the default with the cost model variable defaultNumberPanelsLoadedDissolvingConveyor (1 in starting point Digital Factories), which specifies the number of panels processed simultaneously.

With the setup option Number of Panels Dissolved Simultaneously (defined by the Dissolve Unexposed Photo Resist node of the Process Options Editor), users can override the default on a per-part basis.

Users must specify a value that is no greater than the maximum number of panels that can fit in the machine with the largest Usable Width, assuming:

  • Panel shortest dimension is aligned with conveyor width.

  • Panels are separated by the distance specified by the cost model variable defaultConveyorPanelSpacingWidth (100mm in starting point Digital Factories).

This setup option affects machine selection: a machine is feasible only if its Usable Width can accommodate the specified number of panels. This setup option also affects per-part cycle time.
